By using and/or accessing our platforms, services, and/or products, you agree to be bound by our Terms.

About Our Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions together with our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Terms”) form a written contract between you and Lattea (“Lattea”, “we”, “us” and “our”) and govern our relationship with you and your use of our Platforms and/or Services, or access to our premises.

When we refer to “Platforms”, we mean all our websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, emails, social media platforms or any other technology or mechanism you may use to interact with us.

“Services” refer to any products, goods, services or functionality offered, owned or operated by Lattea.

The general use of our Services, Platforms and any Content on our Platforms is governed by our Terms, which you can access at any time from our website at www.Lattea.co.

“Content” refers to any information, data, files, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, images, video, messages, comments, hyperlinks or tags and other material appearing on our Platforms or Services and all applicable copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos or other intellectual property rights displayed on our Platforms or Services.

We may amend the Terms from time to time. Any new version will be published on our Platforms and will become effective from the date it is first published. It is your responsibility to review our Platforms regularly to determine whether any amendments have been made. By continuing to use our Platforms and/or Services after changes are published, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

Some of our Platforms and/or Services may contain additional rules or terms from time to time which apply to specific Services you use or subscribe to. By using those Services, you agree to be bound by such additional rules and/or terms.


Content On Our Platforms Or Services & Intellectual Property Rights

Lattea owns or is entitled to use all of the Content made available on our Platforms or through our Services.

You may not, unless with our express consent:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute Content from our Platforms.
  • Use any Content for commercial purposes without written permission.

You will retain ownership of any original Content which you upload, transmit or store when using our Platforms or Services.

Lattea will own all compilations, collective works or derivative works created by us which may incorporate your Content.

You grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide and royalty-free license to use, publicly display, publish, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, adapt, modify and promote any Content you upload or make available on publicly accessible areas of our Platforms or Services.

Any Content you transmit or post to publicly accessible areas on our Platforms or Services shall be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we shall have no obligations with respect to such Content.

Our Platforms or Services may include advertisements from third parties and/or external links to other websites possessing their own content (“Third Party Content”).

You acknowledge that Third Party Content:

  • Is beyond the control of Lattea and reliance on it is at your own risk
  • Cannot be verified by Lattea for accuracy or reasonableness
  • May contain representations that do not reflect the views of Lattea, its directors, employees or affiliates

Payment

Credit Card: Your credit card will be charged when completing the purchase.

SnapScan: Your account will be charged when completing the purchase.


Shipping

Lattea uses external courier companies to ship products to consumers.

Delivery fees are calculated based on the shipping destination.

In the case of outlying areas or large orders, we reserve the right to use any cost-effective delivery method, including the South African Post Office, and may contact you with a revised shipping quote for approval before proceeding.

You may also arrange your own courier from our warehouse or cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Orders placed after 1pm will be processed the following day.

Delivery generally occurs within 24–72 working hours after dispatch, depending on location. However, shipping times may vary due to remote locations, transport disruptions, or courier delays.

You will receive an email with a tracking number once your shipment leaves our warehouse.

Deliveries occur between 08h00 and 17h00, and a signature will be required as proof of delivery.

If you are unavailable, the courier will contact you to arrange a second delivery attempt.

We recommend using a regular daytime delivery address (home, office, etc.).
P.O. Boxes are not accepted.

There are no returns on vouchers or products bought on sale/discount.


Vouchers

All Lattea vouchers purchased from us or our suppliers are governed by these Terms.

  • No exchange, refund or change will be given for vouchers.
  • Vouchers may only be redeemed for the specific Services described.
  • Vouchers are valid for the duration stated on the voucher.
  • If prices increase, the holder must pay the difference at redemption.

We will not re-issue damaged, lost or stolen vouchers.


Discount Codes

Lattea may occasionally provide discount codes for redemption against Services offered on our Platforms (“Discount Codes”).

Discount Codes:

  • May be changed or discontinued without notice
  • Are limited to one per person
  • May only be used once
  • Only one code per purchase
  • Are not transferable
  • Cannot be combined with other offers unless stated
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Cannot be used on previous purchases

Discount Codes are only valid for the specified promotional period.

Lattea will not re-issue lost or stolen discount codes.


Returns

Lattea’s policy regarding exchanges, returns and refunds depends on the type of Services purchased and the policy of the manufacturer or supplier.

Where the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) No. 68 of 2008 applies, Lattea will comply with the requirements of the CPA.

Certain products may be returned within five days of receipt for a full refund if:

  • The product is unused
  • The box is unopened
  • The item is in original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

There are no returns on vouchers or sale/discounted products.

If a product is faulty, the customer must email office@Lattea.co with details and photographs within 7 days of receiving the product.

If Lattea accepts responsibility, a voucher for the product value will be issued for use on the online store.


Communications

You agree that Lattea or its affiliates may occasionally send communications about new products, services, offers or discounts.

All communications will comply with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You may opt out of such communications at any time by notifying us in writing.


Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint:

  1. Contact customer support at office@Lattea.co.
  2. Allow Lattea the opportunity to resolve the issue.
  3. If unresolved, the dispute may be referred to arbitration.

Arbitration will be conducted according to the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa, in Cape Town or Johannesburg, in English before a single arbitrator.

The arbitration decision will be final and binding.

Lattea may institute legal action for payment defaults without arbitration.


Third Party Goods, Software And Services

Lattea may offer third-party products or services through our Platforms.

When purchasing from third parties:

  • Lattea is not a party to the contract
  • The third party is responsible for warranties and obligations
  • You must review their terms and conditions

If a third party stops providing services, Lattea may discontinue or replace them.


Availability

While we aim to ensure Platforms are available 24/7, Lattea is not liable if they become unavailable due to:

  • System failures
  • Maintenance
  • Circumstances beyond our control

Security and Privacy

Lattea may take necessary actions to maintain the security of our Platforms.

You may not use our Platforms in a way that compromises network security.

Payment information is handled through secure payment systems consistent with accepted technological standards.

Your personal information is processed according to our Privacy Policy.


Disclaimer and Limited Liability

You use our Platforms, Services, and premises at your own risk.

Lattea and its employees, agents or contractors are not liable for injury, damage or loss suffered while using our premises or Services.

Content on our Platforms is provided “as is” and may contain errors or outdated information.

Lattea does not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of content
  • That platforms will be error-free
  • That services will meet individual requirements

Users should seek professional advice where necessary.


General Terms

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Lattea.

Lattea may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party without your consent.

You may not transfer your rights without Lattea’s consent.

If any provision becomes unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain valid.

These Terms comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
